NAD+ injections vs IV drips and supplements
Plain definitions first. The physician covers what applies to you.
NAD+ (nicotinamide adenine dinucleotide) is a coenzyme found in every living cell, where it takes part in energy metabolism. Its levels in many tissues decline with age.1
People take NAD+ in several ways: as an IV infusion, as an injection, as a nasal spray, capsule or troche, or indirectly through oral precursors such as nicotinamide riboside, sold as supplements.
NAD Injections Online coordinates the injectable, and the nasal, capsule or troche forms where the physician chooses them. It does not offer IV infusions. For injectable vitamins alongside it, see vitamin B12 and nutrient injections.

What NAD+ research measured
Background from published studies, cited below. None of it is a promise about your outcome.
NAD+ is a coenzyme found in every living cell, and its levels in many tissues decline with age.1
In a study of healthy middle-aged and older adults, oral supplementation with an NAD+ precursor (nicotinamide riboside) raised blood NAD+ levels and was well tolerated.2
A small pilot study measured how a six-hour intravenous NAD+ infusion changed NAD+ and related metabolites in blood and urine.3
None of those studies tested the injectable a licensed pharmacy prepares for one patient, and none measured symptoms.

NAD+ injection side effects and safety
Read this before your consultation, and ask the physician about anything unclear.
Compounded medications are prepared by a licensed pharmacy for an individual patient and are not FDA-approved. No approved label lists its uses or side effects, so the physician works from your history and clinical judgment, tells you what is known and what is uncertain, and sets how often you check in.
Tell the physician first
- Active cancer, or a history of cancer
- If you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding
- Any past reaction to an injection
- Every medicine and supplement you take
Possible reactions
- Redness, swelling or bruising where the injection is given
- Flushing, nausea, headache or lightheadedness
Get help right away
- Trouble breathing, or swelling of the face, lips or throat: call 911
- Hives, a racing heartbeat or feeling faint after a dose
- Anything else unexpected: tell the physician the same day

Put the NAD+ question to a physician
Start with a call with a wellness consultant. The physician then reviews your history in a telehealth consultation and gives you a clear decision, reviewed again at follow-up.
Treatment requires a prescription. A licensed clinician evaluates you by telehealth and decides whether any medication is appropriate. Booking does not guarantee a prescription. Availability depends on your state: you must be located in a state where an independent physician is licensed to treat you at the time of your consultation. For adults 18 and older.
